This two-tier celebration cake brings a gentle animal adventure to the table. A little lion peeks from the basket of a pale pink hot air balloon above the cake. A zebra and elephant join the scene below, alongside clusters of pastel sugar balloons.

Design details

The lower tier has broad cream-and-gold vertical stripes. A pale upper tier sits above it, wrapped at the front with an oversized soft pink bow. Pastel pink, blue, cream and white balloon shapes gather beside the bow and at the base.

A striped zebra sits on the edge of the lower tier, while a small grey elephant rests beside the cake board. High above, the lion's wicker-look basket hangs beneath the round pink balloon, with little pennants draped near its top. The animal figures and balloon give the cake height without crowding its simple pastel palette.
